Come celebrate our country’s most patriotic holiday on Thursday, July 4th, at the annual Northeast Tarrant Family 4th Celebration.
This year’s celebration will again feature a free concert (7:30-9pm) with Holly Tucker, finalist from season 4 of the voice (sponsored by Family Christian Doors). Food, Fun and Entertainment for the whole family will start at 5pm at The Hills Center (same location as last year) with kid’s activities, stage performances featuring local talent, our annual corndog eating contest, Salute to Veterans, and plenty of July 4th eats. Food Trucks and Vendors include AJ’s Ice, B&C Snow Balls, Brain Freeze Events, Kidwell's BBQ & Catering, Kona Ice, Texas Ice Cream, and others! Later in the evening, enjoy the best area fireworks show with plenty of dazzling and stunning pyrotechnics starting at approximately 9:30pm!
Fireworks can be viewed from the parking lots of the Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum, 6108 Broadway Avenue in Haltom City, and The Hills Center, 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills while all the Family 4th pre-fireworks activities starting at 5 pm will be held in The Hills Center parking lot (both are located south of Loop 820 near the intersection of Boulevard 26 and Broadway Avenue). Parking will be available on a first come first serve basis, so plan to come early. Vehicles will not be allowed to park along the street.
Feel free to bring chairs, blankets, and games for the family to play while waiting for the fireworks. However, no outdoor cooking or grilling devices and no alcohol or personal fireworks will be permitted. In the event of inclement weather, all festivities and the fireworks show will be rescheduled to Friday, July 5.
