'Flowering Relationships’ means the joy of receiving or gifting flowers as part of Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Friendships and Thinking of You Occasions.
Warm feelings rise up when I think of my Father stopping the car and jumping out to pick wildflowers along the roadside to take home for my Mother to enjoy!
Each year my family grew rows and rows of flowers in our large summer garden and I often would be the one appointed to arrange a bouquet after picking them.
Flowers of all colors, sizes and shapes that I observe and remember are frequent inspirations for my oil paintings.”
