Join us for the June edition of our monthly Movie Book Club where we will be screening the 1969 classic "True Grit" starring John Wayne, Kim Darby, Glen Campbell, and Robert Duvall. This Oscar winning film directed by Henry Hathaway is celebrating its 50th anniversary and was based on the novel by Charles Portis. A variety of editions of "True Grit" will be available for sale along with other related books and merchandise. There will be free fresh hot popcorn for all as always.
The Half Price Books Movie Book Club takes place on the 3rd Friday night of each month. Each event features a free screening of a classic movie adapted from an equally classic book.
