FAMILIAR is a Dallas, TX based electronic duo formed in 2017 by synth musician M Cody McPhail (Akkad the Orphic Priest) and vocalist Marissa Rodriguez. Their sound is informed by dark ambience, poetic reflection, and intimate emotional realms. The instrumentals and vocals are filled with light yet drenched in night.
SEA BRAIN is the musical project of Chapel Hill-based multimedia artist Benjamin Clancy. The project contorts influences from indie-rock, hip-hop, punk and contemporary pop into backdrops for lyrics that explore work, love, and life under late capitalism. Benjamin's fusion of twee electronics and heavily-processed vocals will appeal to fans of Panda Bear, Dean Blunt, and Dirty Beaches.
