July 22-26, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Teacher: Andrea Wamble
When is a canvas not just a canvas? When an artist transforms it into images of faraway lands, dashing heroes, and splashes of pure color! Go beyond the canvas in this camp focused on the joys of paint. Sketch from works of art in the Museum's galleries, and then take on the challenge of new ideas and materials to create your own inspired canvas. Experiment with acrylic paint, mix a personalized color palette, and more on your path to painting perfection.
$210 public, $175 DMA Member; tickets go on sale March 2 at 10:00 a.m. DMA Members may register early on March 1.
