June 24-28, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Ages 9-12
Teacher: Mark Gutting
Put your painting skills to the test in this camp all about art transformations! We'll ask "what if?" and "why not?" as we explore works in the Museum's collection. Investigate landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and sculptures in the galleries, and create paintings of your own in the studio. Then channel your inner art-transformer and turn your paintings into something new with collage, felt, mixed media, and 3-D elements.
$210 public, $175 DMA Member; tickets go on sale March 2 at 10:00 a.m. DMA Members may register early on March 1.
