The artists of Oak Cliff and West Dallas Tin District welcome you into their homes and studios for the annual Visual SpeedBump Art Tour. Come out and see artists in their natural habitat!
This one-day event is Free and open to the public. Printed maps will be available at each stop.
We have more participants this year so get an early start and expeditiously visit as many as you can.

It’s Spring and that means it’s SpeedBump time again. Established in 2000….it’s the longest running and most exciting Art Tour in all of Oak Cliff! The old adage that to find an artist or musician or poet in North Oak Cliff all you got to do is throw a rock is more than a little true; the Cliff has always been a haven for maverick artists the range of visual artists that practice and reside in the neighborhood. You'll get to socialize with the big art minds that created the art while maybe sipping on a complimentary adult beverage which make for a highly rewarding way to pass an afternoon. Surprise musical and spoken word pop-ups will happen spontaneously at various Art Tour venues for your further enlightenment and entertainment. This years SpeedBump has 20 stops and features old favorites Like Sour Grapes & Deadbolt Studios, Oil & Cotton, as well as exciting new participants Jonathan Molina-Garcia, rising star Krisata Chalkley, and lots more. Chuck & George will have Special guest exhibit of Lisette Chavez and Gillian Bradshaw-Smith Peep Hole Installation and a few others.
