Spirographs and other drawing tools will be used to create geometrically inspired artwork in the style of Wassily Kandinsky, Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Gustav Klimt, all famous artists known for using circular shapes in their compositions.

Students will learn how to grow crystals and geodes then mount them in wearable art or to display.

Science and art intersect with insects! After investigating what kind of critters live under rocks and the components of their anatomy, students will make their own clay bodies and attach wire for movable legs.
