(Visual Arts/Book Arts/2D Design/STEAM)

Instructor: Sheila Cunningham
(Visual Arts/Drawing & Painting/2D Design)
Campers will create their own ‘perfect pets’ while learning about various painting techniques, the color wheel and color mixing.
Instructor: Teresa Parsons
(Visual Arts/Drawing & Painting/Art History)
Richard Lindner’s famous 1966 painting Rock-Rock (permanent collection at the Dallas Museum of Art!) is the inspiration for this class. After studying the elements of line, color, value, shape/form, space, texture and balance, campers will paint a groovy self-portrait with an instrument of their choice in this psychedelic Pop Art style.
Instructor: Cynthia Anzaldua
(Visual Arts/Drawing & Painting/Mixed Media/2D Design/STEAM)
A study of geological strata provides scientific and artistic inspiration for a re-imagined landscape that explores the cool textures and patterns of the earth’s interior.
Instructor: Kiba Jacobson
Learn the basics of music reading, practice notes and chords and explore various musical genres. The guitar lesson for each class is dependent on each student’s previous musical experiences and skill level. Instruments are provided; however, students that already play are encouraged to bring their instruments to class for extra instruction and enrichment.Instructor: Jeremy Emmert
