Taste of Dallas

Dallas Market Center - Market Hall

The annual festival of culinary delights, Taste of Dallas, returns in 2019 at a new, all-indoor, fully air-conditioned location, the Dallas Market Center Main Hall, from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. This year, Taste of Dallas debuts a host of new food and beverage attractions, including Taste of the Neighborhoods and Whiskies of the World. In its 33rd year, Taste of Dallas features over 100 chefs, restaurants, and beverage ambassadors. This Texas tradition is one of the largest and most anticipated events every year and offers something for everyone, from the die-hard foodie to the diner who wants to learn more about the best culinary experiences in Dallas.

Taste of Dallas kicks off Friday night with The Foodie Experience, its exclusive, one-night-only, limited-ticket event, where gourmet attendees (21 and older only) enjoy unlimited food tastings from top chefs and restaurants, along with delicious samplings of wine, craft beer, and spirits -- ALL INCLUDED in the ticket price. The Foodie Experience is one of the most in-demand foodie components of the weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, Taste of Dallas introduces Taste of the Neighborhoods presented by Visit Dallas. Exhibiting chefs and restaurants will be grouped by geographic areas, giving each neighborhood its own culinary profile. Great restaurants from neighborhoods around the Metroplex will serve delicious offerings from their menus and specialty pairing cocktails for between 1 to 5 tasting and sampling tickets.  Featured neighborhoods include, Bishop Arts District/Oak Cliff, Deep Ellum, Uptown & Harwood, Park Cities, Greenville Avenue, Downtown, Knox/Henderson, and West Village.  On Sunday, Taste of the Neighborhoods features a Sunday Brunch Theme, which includes tasty Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

At the Whiskies of the World exhibit, distillers from around the globe share their finest spirits and knowledge, and whisky enthusiasts can discover the Art of Whisky in the company of true whisky connoisseurs and ambassadors. Whiskies of the World boasts over 200 whiskies, demos, food and whisky pairings, and more.

The always popular Taste Marketplace showcases local and national brands of specialty foods, products, and services, giving attendees the opportunity to shop, sample, and learn. The Beer and Wine Taste Gardens feature a variety of options from local and international breweries and wineries. The Taste of Dallas culinary experience is complemented by the spectacular art exhibit in The Artists’ Gallery, which showcases 10 local artists, including some shown in local galleries.
