Our special guest, Brandon Waller is the owner of Bam’s Vegan, a plant based pop up location located in Dallas. Our theme for this talk will be “Healing The Hood” we will be discussing how transforming the conversation around food transforms our community and better equips us to uplift, educate, and create balanced lives for the future generations.

COMMU.N.I.T.Y, is a monthly show that aims to simplify diversity and inclusion through the lens of Activists, Entrepreneurs and Artists of Color in the Dallas area. Our special guests will give insight into their activism, entrepreneurship and how they use their talents to improve their communities and what we can do to help them continue their efforts.
Melania-Luisa Marte is a first generation American. She was born in the Bronx and raised in the Lower East Side of New York City. Her multi-cultured upbringing inspires her to write about navigating the world as a native Spanish speaker of Afro-Dominican descent. She has performed, featured, and competed in cities across the country. She is the founder of “Melanin Goddess” a Dallas based feminist healing collective for WOC.
