Visit the Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site on Saturday, April 13 from 2.30 to 4 p.m. to enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter Egg Roll, and Springtime arts and crafts. This free event is for children ages 12 and under. The hunts will be divided according to age group around our eight-acre site. After the hunt, stay to compete in an Easter Egg Roll, a White House tradition revived during Dwight D. Eisenhower's presidency, and make a kite or a stick flower. Don't forget to take a tour of the home where Eisenhower was born in 1890, right in the heart of Denison (tours on the hour, regular admission charged).
