EVENT DETAILS:
Discounted advance tickets of $17 each go on sale for 4 days Monday, March 25 - Thursday, March 28 for the Spay Neuter Network's 2nd Annual Easter "Bone" Hunt and Doggie Carnival. There will be art, with pet sketches by Aafke Brower, a graduate of London's Royal Academy of Art, and plenty of seeking as leashed dogs go on a hunt for 400+ handmade treats from Empire Baking Co. Additional games include Doggie Limbo, Bobbing for Tennis Balls and Musical Mutts. All proceeds benefit the Spay Neuter Network, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides low-cost (and often free) spaying, neutering and vaccines in communities with high rates of stray animals.
Last year's event sold out, so the City of Dallas Parks & Recreation Department has moved this year's event to a 100+acre park near White Rock Lake, on Saturday, April 20, 11-2:30 PM. Discount tickets of $17 each will be available for four days only, from 10 AM Monday (March 25) until 11:59 PM on Thursday, March 28, before regular priced tickets of $20 go on sale Friday, March 29.
Each ticket admits 1 dog + 2 humans, and each dog receives a giveaway bag for collecting prizes & treats.
