Dallas Songwriters Hall of Fame

The 2019 Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Saturday April 20 at the Historic Sons of Hermann Hall in Dallas. Each year Dallas Songwriters Association honors famous singer/songwriters with roots in the Dallas/Fort Worth area through an induction into the Dallas Songwriters Association Hall of Fame. This years songwriter honorees include Steve Miller, Stephen Stills, Boz Skaggs, Larry Henley and community service honoree Rod Phelps.

Dallas Songwriters initiative this year is to encourage young aspiring musicians to celebrate our legends with their performances of songs made famous by our inductees. We reached out to the local music schools and asked for auditions at each school for the honor to perform. These students will be backed up by the DSA Hall of Fame Band consisting of DSA members. It will be an exciting and fun event based around the great music our 2019 honorees!
