AD EX, the Architecture and Design Center, is pleased to host Transforming Cities, Transforming Lives: The Aga Khan Historic Cities Programme, an exhibition of 27 regeneration projects from nine countries that demonstrate how culture can have a positive impact well beyond conservation.
The exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Aga Khan Council for the Central United States, headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The exhibition includes more than two dozen projects throughout Africa and Asia, and two in Canada. Images of the projects are accompanied by text panels explaining not only the project methodology, but also its cultural significance. It will run until April 6 and is free and open to the public.
