In the fall of 2017, theatre-makers Janielle Kastner and Brigham Mosley were commissioned by the Dallas Morning News and Ignite/Arts Dallas to write a play about journalism. After two years of work – spending 100+ hours in the newsroom, shadowing journalists, interviewing professionals, and creating a first draft of their play; they need your help.
Featuring scenes from their play-in-progress, a round table conversation with the Dallas Morning News team who commissioned the project, and an interactive Q&A with the audience; this event will illuminate and deepen the ongoing conversation about the state and importance of local journalism.
