Cyanocosm investigates the movement of the human body through nature, and how the body interacts with and manipulates the spaces it inhabits. This installation of cyanotype prints, created during communal outdoor excursions, encourages the viewer to move through and interact with the work in the gallery space. This action may mimic the way a viewer would interact with nature in an outdoor space. Using a malleable installation, I encourage the viewer to move around the work, manipulate the work, and become a part of the work, which gives power to the viewer in the artist-viewer relationship.
Opening Reception Monday, March 25, 5 - 7 p.m. Exhibition on display through March 29.
