Gallery Talk by Letitia Huckaby

Acclaimed artist Letitia Huckaby will offer insights into her unique body of work during the second of the Tyler Museum of Art's spring Gallery Talk series on Sunday, March 10. The talk begins at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free but seating is limited. Huckaby is an accomplished multi-media artist who fuses photography, quilting, silk screening and a vast expanse of media with a distinctly regional sensibility but worldwide appeal. A photographer at heart, she primarily explores her own family history and African-American heritage.

Huckaby's featured exhibition “Lagniappe: Works by Letitia Huckaby” is currently on display through March 17 at the TMA, 1300 S. Mahon Ave. on the Tyler Junior College main campus. For information, visit www.tylermuseum.org
