Guest Speaker: Shvetank Agarwal, MD, FASE, is an associate Professor and the Chief of the Division of
Cardiovascular Anesthesia at the Augusta University Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative
Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. He developed a profound interest in exploring spirituality during his medical school
days in India and avidly started practicing Raja Yoga meditation with the Brahma Kumaris. His vision is for a
paradigm shift in healthcare towards a more holistic approach. He is actively involved in conducting meditation
courses and self-realization workshops locally in Georgia, South Carolina and in upstate New York.
