Texas Woman’s University’s Student Union, Housing and Residence Life, Residence Hall Association, Diversity, Inclusion & Outreach, PRIDE and Helping Hands will host “Kings, Queens & Everyone in Between” drag show at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Margo Jones Performance Hall.
Performers include local acts, TWU students and special guest, Alyssa Edwards, from RuPaul’s Drag Race and the Netflix series Dancing Queen.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and attendees with a valid TWU ID will receive priority seating. All other attendees will be seated beginning at 6:15 p.m.
Patrons who participate in a short survey will also be entered for a chance to win a backstage “meet and greet” with Alyssa Edwards.
A unique feature of this drag show is that tips are encouraged. All proceeds will benefit OUTreach Denton, an LGBTQA alliance that provides support, advocacy, and resources.
