Late Night: Sweet Sixteen!

Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art is celebrating its Sweet Sixteen! Join us as we revisit some of the hits from the past 16 years of Late Nights.

Treat Yo Self! 6–10 p.m., DMA CafeGrab a sweet treat for our Sweet Sixteen! Special birthday cupcakes will be available for purchase to satisfy your sweet tooth, and as our gift to you, the first 116 visitors who purchase food or beverages at the DMA Cafe will receive a free cupcake. 

Wearable Art: Pan Ector Industries Screen Printed T-Shirts 6–10:30 p.m., Tech Lab, Center for Creative Connections (C3)Watch the art of screen printing with Pan Ector Industries and buy a T-shirt with a design inspired by the DMA's collection and Late Nights' Sweet Sixteen. Take a minute to enter our contest to win one of 16 free shirts designed by Pan Ector—winners will be announced at 9:30 p.m. in C3. 

Late Night Talk: Behind the Scenes at the DMA 7 p.m., Horchow Auditorium How are larger-than-life artworks brought into the Museum? Where does the art go when it’s not in the galleries? Join our team of registrars and art handlers for a peek behind the curtain and discover things you never knew about the DMA.

Late Night Main Stage featuring Rockestra 8–9 p.m., AtriumRockestra is an experience of epic proportions! Founded by world-renowned cellist Buffi Jacobs of Polyphonic Spree, Rockestra incorporates vast musical knowledge and instrument mastery into a truly unique musical experience.

Late Night After Hours Showcase featuring Drew Zaremba 10–10:45 p.m., AtriumJazz saxophonist Drew Zaremba and his zextet will perform his original compositions, including a new piece he composed inspired by works and artists in our collection such as Jackson Pollock.
