Join us for a free, drop-in tour of one of Dallas Contemporary’s current exhibitions. Tours are led by a DC Educator or Curator. The March tour will feature artwork by Texas artist Margarita Cabrera. Featuring over 40 soft sculptures and 15 prints, Margarita Cabrera: It Is Impossible to Cover the Sun with a Finger is a survey of the artist’s work addressing her interest over time in sociopolitical issues such as migration, labor practices, and economic empowerment. As an immigrant from Mexico herself, Margarita Cabrera uses her art to both conceptually and formally explore the impact of border politics.
