Highlighted by a cavalcade of more than one dozen of the DFW area’s top vocalists, Cabaret & Cabernet returns to the Sammons Center for the Arts, 3630 Harry Hines at Oak Lawn, on Friday, January 25, 2019. The center’s semi-annual event begins at 7:30 p.m. with a wine tasting, followed at 8:00 p.m. by the parade of outstanding cabaret artists singing music from the Great American Songbook, Broadway shows, and the pop charts.
The lineup includes Linda Petty, who will also emcee, Chimberly Byrom, Chris Cree, Jay Gardner, Keron Jackson, Carolyn Lee Jones, Sheran Goodspeed Keyton, Angie McWhorter, Heather Paterson, Audra Scott, Diana Sheehan, and Truy Tran. Each singer performs one song and is accompanied by the Larry Petty Combo.
Admission is $400 for a table of six and $500 for a table of eight. All guests receive complimentary valet parking, wine and other beverages, appetizers, and the concert. Each table host also receives an annual Sammons Cabaret membership, a gift certificate for two tickets to a regular Sammons Cabaret concert and a CD.

The event kicks off the spring season of the Carson Series of Sammons Cabaret, which began in February 2012 as an adjunct to the Sammons Center’s acclaimed jazz series. Featuring an evening of songs and stories, Sammons Cabaret is held in the intimate setting of Kurth Hall at the Sammons Center on the third Thursday of each month, February through May and September through December.
