Stroller Tour + Story Time: Margarita Cabrera

Dallas Contemporary

ONE WEDNESDAY PER MONTH @ 10 AM

Parents and caregivers are invited to bring children ages 18 months and younger for an educator-led stroll through our current exhibitions. We encourage conversation, questions, + animated babies! Tours are followed by an artfully-inspired story time in the galleries. The March tour will feature one of dallas contemporary's newest exhibitions by Texas Artist Margarita Cabrera. Featuring over 40 soft sculptures and 15 prints, Margarita Cabrera: It Is Impossible to Cover the Sun with a Finger is a survey of the artist’s work addressing her interest over time in sociopolitical issues such as migration, labor practices, and economic empowerment. As an immigrant from Mexico herself, Margarita Cabrera uses her art to both conceptually and formally explore the impact of border politics.
