National Award-winning advertising creative and graphic designer, Manuel Herrera, will make his debut fine art show Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Ellisson Valencia Gallery in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. (He’ll be there to greet viewers from 7-9 p.m. on December 15th.)
Manuel Herrera’s series MSTRS. studies our masters and simplifies their work to create new works of art. The series seamlessly blends traditional art and digital technology with an app that adds to the art-viewing experience; old school meets new school.
The inspiration of some of the pieces are quickly discernible, while others require the, first of its kind, interactive app he’s created to help you see the inspiration behind his work, in real time, using augmented reality. (Down the ios app MSTRS. Note that it uses the newest AR technology and requires ios12.)
