Elena S. Hall - Through Adopted Eyes

The Wild Detectives

Through Adopted Eyes explores the world of adoption from the viewpoint of adoptees. Russian adoptee Elena S. Hall shares her own story and thoughts on the subject of adoption in addition to interviews from other adoptees of different ages, heritages, and perspectives. Whether you are an adoptive parent, curious about adoption, or an adoptee yourself, this unique collection of memoirs provides real insight into lives directly impacted by adoption.

Through Adopted Eyes connects many different adoptees by bringing them together to share their voice. This book helps readers understand what it is like to be adopted and how that affects adoptees worldviews. This project was started over 2 years ago to bring awareness to what adoption is – from adoptees!

Elena Svetlana Hall is a proud alumni of Baylor University working on her Master’s degree in Social Work. Her passion for adoption advocacy stems from her faith and family. Those who know her best know that she talks very fast and loves ice cream, singing, dancing, white rice, spending time with friends and families, and all the gluten things. But please keep cilantro far away!
