Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

Participate in Spooky Science Fun at the Museum this Halloween for a special daytime event!

10 AM – 12 PM
Hands-on Halloween Fun in the Children’s Museum geared towards those ages 8 and below. Don’t miss our costume parade through the Museum at 11:30 AM!

Here are just a few of the activities we have planned:
Boo Bubbles | Is it a bubble or a ghost? Explore boo bubbles to find out.
Exploding Pumpkin | Beware of the exploding pumpkin! This experiment is sure to be a blast.
Paper Marbling | Create a spooky swirling piece of art with paper marbling.
Costume Parade (11:30 AM) | Wear your costume and trick-or-treat around the Museum (no masks or weapons, please).

Experiments, Tricks and Treats, Oh My!
Join us for Halloween themed haunts perfect for all ages.

Here are just a few of the activities we have planned:
Boo Bubbles | Bubble, bubble, no toil nor trouble! Catch a ghost with boo bubbles!
Dancing Ghosts | Make ghosts and ghouls bust some electrifying moves!
DIY Costumes | Lions and wizards and superheroes – oh my! Create your own costume pieces here to get in the spirit of Halloween.
Ghost Messages | These spooky secret messages only appear in special light.
Density Explorations | Uncover the scientific secret to making your own miniature lava lamp.
Exploding Pumpkin | Beware of the exploding pumpkin! This experiment is sure to be a blast.
Calavera Masks | Honor and celebrate Día de los Muertos by decorating your own calavera.

Costumes are encouraged! No masks or weapons, please. See full costume policy below.

Ick-or-Treat experiences are included with Museum Exhibit Admission. Special exhibit pricing on October 31: $10 adult, $5 junior (2-18).

Costume Policy and Guest Safety

We value guest safety and have the following guidelines related to costumes worn at the Museum. Please note masks and weapons are not permitted. Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials. Prop weapons may be allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps. Prop bows may be allowed providing all arrows have soft tips. All weapons will be inspected by a member of our security staff upon guest entry. Permissible items are subject to the Museum’s discretion.
