Whether by train or plane, boat or car, transportation helps us go far! We'll explore the many ways to go, go, go through art making, performances, story times, and tours in a fun-filled day designed specifically for children ages 5 and under.

Drop in and create your favorite mode of transportation using paper plates, popsicle sticks, markers, and more.

​Start those engines as you play with kinetic sand, explore the skies of cotton ball clouds, sink or float toy boats, build your own roads, and more at one of our transportation play stations.

Out of This World  puppet show with Geppetto's Marionette Theater
11:30 a.m.–noon, C3 Theater
​Blast off on an out-of-this-world adventure with aliens and robots on the go, and giggle and cheer for your favorite space-exploring marionette puppets. After the show, children may try their hand at the strings with our teaching puppets!

​All Aboard!  family tour
12:15–​12:45 p.m., Meet at the Center for Creative Connections entrance
​Climb aboard our exploration train and go on a journey through the galleries as we learn about transportation within works of art in this interactive tour led by Museum staff. Tours will be offered in English and Spanish.

​story time with the Dallas Public Library
​1:00–​1:30 p.m., C3 Theater
​Listen to enchanting stories told by our librarian friends.
