Our Teen Inktober workshop offers the opportunity to celebrate the medium and style of ink! Teen instructors will practice teaching and give teen students access to the visual language of ink.

Students will employ value to create a moody ink drawing a blackbird. Ink washes will be layered to create the background and organic form of our winged subject. Brushwork will be used to further define the birds' anatomy. This is an excellent, one-night class for portfolio preparation and a productive evening to help teens build skills with friends. Did we mention pizza?

What is Inktober? Inktober is a social media drawing challenge practiced by artists around the globe. Participants improve their skills
by creating one ink drawing a day during the month of October. Many artists share their ink drawings on social media, but #Inktober can be something you do just for yourself! It is a great way to improve drawing habits and experiment with various styles.
