EarthxFilm celebrates Half-Earth Day and a screening of the film CHARGED

Dallas Farmers Market

Join EarthxFilm and the Dallas Farmers Market as we celebrate the Inaugural Half-Earth Day with a Taco Throwdown and a screening of the film CHARGED.

Pack a blanket and a chair for a night under the stars!

Meet celebrity chef Eduardo Garcia, whose film, CHARGED, chronicles his journey for survival after being shocked by 2400 volts of electricity. The film explores Eduardo’s passion for the environment and his journey towards finding his best self and towards building stronger relationships, both of which he faced during his long recovery.

Eduardo’s recovery ultimately involves the amputation of his left arm and also the removal of four ribs and muscle mass from his torso, legs, arms, and scalp. Now a “bionic chef”, he’ll be showing off his skills during our Taco Throwdown and will be available for Q&A session after the film screening.
