WHERE: In the Horchow Auditorium at the Dallas Museum of Art
WHY: Fine Arts Chamber Players enriches the lives of North Texans through free chamber music concerts and free music education. FACP's concerts at the Dallas Museum of Art are seven virtuosic programs featuring Dallas’s top professional musicians.
HOW: The Bancroft season is bookended by key Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) personnel Alexander Kerr and Nathan Olson, and FACP is honored to have several preeminent members of the DSO, The Dallas Opera Orchestra, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) featured throughout the series – truly a celebration of musical families and FACP’s friends. The season opens with DSO Concertmaster Alexander Kerr joined by DSO pianist Anastasia Markina and closes with DSO Co-Concertmaster Nathan Olson’s Baumer String Quartet.
YEAH, BUT HOW?: We hire professional musicians in the area. Though there is no cost to attend our concerts, FACP pays the artists a competitive rate to appear on our programs. Support from concert attendees, individual donors, and foundations make it possible for FACP to offer free classical music programming to North Texans Donations came me made online and at the performances.
