FARE's Food Allergy Heroes Walk

Dallas Zoo

Celebrate your food allergy heroes and make an impact at FARE’s Food Allergy Heroes Walk. The walk exists to recognize the courage and determination of food allergy families and to empower these everyday heroes to help keep families managing food allergies safe. Through widespread fundraising and walks across the country, thousands of families come together to unite behind their commitment to FARE’s mission of life, health, and hope and raise funds that will change their children’s lives through research, education, advocacy, and broad awareness.

Registration and activities will begin at 7:45 a.m. The program begins at 8:45 a.m., and the walk begins immediately following the program. Activities include: a performance by Kyle Dine, superhero craft activities, scavenger hunt, "Why We Walk" wall, photo booth and vendor tables with samples.
Participants who fundraise at least $200 will receive four tickets to the zoo for each $200 raised up to 40 tickets per team. For example, if your team fundraises $600, you will be eligible for up to 12 tickets.

Zoo tickets will also be available for purchase if you do not qualify for the fundraising reward or if you wish to help FARE return more money to the cause at a discounted rate of $10 for adults ages 12-64 or $7 for children ages 3-11 and seniors ages 65 and up. Children under 3 are free. Parking is $10 per car.
