Haley-Henman is presenting Karen Piloto's most recent paintings at the Verona. This six-month solo exhibition starts with an opening reception with the artist on Friday, October 12 from 7-9 pm. The Verona, a luxury residence, is located on Noel Road across from Macy's at the Galleria Mall. Since parking at the Verona might be at capacity for the opening event, free parking at the Galleria is suggested for the reception.
The exhibition located in the main lobby is available for viewing from 9 am to 5 pm every day of the week. Please contact Haley-Henman for additional information at 214-532-3225 (call/text). Recently graduated with an MBA, Karen holds a management position in a technical health-related international company. Yes, we are proud of Piloto. And, we are also proud of the way Piloto provides an example of how art expands the meaning of our experiences in many different ways and contexts. It influences us in the way we see and understand processes. Karen Piloto employs an ancient technique of reverse painting on glass but uses the contemporary medium of acrylic paint and acrylic panels. She has been creating the Spectrum Series since 2008. Her last solo exhibition at the Verona was in 2012. Her continuing work in this medium has produced a variety of beautiful effects from starry gold leaf applications to nuances of water. The Verona is a beautiful place to view Spectrum City Reflections. Haley-Henman is grateful for their support of Karen Piloto.
The lobby has a large open, light-filled contemporary style. It is accessible for viewing every day of the week. Viewing the works in the context of a home makes them personal and part of the relationship of architecture and furnishings. We know the residents of the Verona will enjoy these paintings as part of their home for the next six months.
