Children ages 6 through 12 can experience Professor Snape’s Potions Class from the popular Harry Potter book series this October. The Library’s potions class will be held at the South Garland Branch Library at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The potions class will consist of four science experiments using household items like milk, dishwashing liquid, vinegar, baking soda, and food coloring. Experiments include making unicorn milk, fizzing elixir, fleeing spiders, and the famous Mandrake Restorative Draught.
