The Dallas Chamber Symphony’s second concert of the season sends you on a musical journey through Europe, beginning with Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, an early masterpiece comprised of six, short movements. The orchestra will also perform J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, featuring solos from Kyle Sherman on trumpet and Margaret Fischer on flute. Rounding out the evening is our virtuosic strings’ take on a memento from Tchaikovsky’s sojourn in Italy, his romantic Souvenir de Florence.
