Tarrant County College Southeast Presents “MOOSH” an exhibition of paintings and prints by artist Gerald Nyamwihura Mushumbusi. Gerald, who goes by MOOSH, was born in 1989 at the source of the Nile, in Jinja, Uganda. Tragedy struck his life at a very young age when he lost his father to AIDS. Soon after that his mother also fell ill and art came into his life through these tough circumstances. At age 13, Moosh migrated to the US and was reunited with his mother in New York. In his new home his fascination with street art and the life and work of Keith Haring developed and became a source of inspiration for him.
MOOSH’s Art Corridor show is his first solo exhibition in Texas. MOOSH is represented by the Jenn Singer Gallery in New York.
