Poets of Tarrant County, a chapter of the Poetry Society of Texas, usually meets on the first Monday of the month. If that day happens to fall on a holiday, then we meet on the following Monday. Our purpose is to promote the reading and writing of poetry, to create public awareness of the art of poetry, to encourage and nurture individuals who desire to write poetry, and to support the activities of the Poetry Society of Texas. Our meetings take place on the 2nd floor of the First United Methodist Church, Fort Worth, Texas, at 10 am.
