Students should bring a DSLR camera or smart phone, a notebook for note-taking and a selection of 2-3 small objects for us to photograph! Students will learn about using their DSLRs or smart phones and a range of soft lighting to create amazing photographs of small works, including artwork, jewelry, food and other small objects (smaller than 12” x 12”). The class will cover photographic and lighting fundamentals, discuss enhancing photos using free and inexpensive software. In class we will take at least 1 image of art objects that each student brings!
