Sway to the rhythms of the Slavonic dances of gypsy heritage, the inspiration of Czech composer Antonin Dvorak, whose music has been used in movies and television series, from “Downton Abbey”, “Supernatural”, “True Blood” and more. His instrumental music will be performed (Piano Trio Op. 90) as well as songs. Also featured, the music of Polish-born Wojciech Kilar, whose film scores have won honors and range in style from “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” and “The Truman Show” to 0.“Portrait of a Lady”. Performers: the Chenoweth-Hood-Kang Trio, plus tenor Don O’Neal LeBlanc and soprano Judith Rodriguez. Post-concert party included in ticket price, when you may give your requests to pianist Steve Stroud. Complimentary buffet of fruit/cheese/desserts/wine/soft drinks, BYOB accepted.
