Join us in Dallas on Sunday, August 26 from 2 - 6PM for Project Unity's 4th annual "Together We Ball" event!
Designed to foster unity and relationships between the community and law enforcement, the highlight of this FREE event is a "Pastors and Police" basketball game featuring local police officers, religious and community leaders.
Families may enjoy pre-game community activities such as balloon artists, face painting, 3-point shoot out and slam dunk contest, along with a high school basketball game and half-time entertainment.
Headliner half-time entertainment will feature an old-school free throw competition.
Schedule:
2 PM - Community activities and high school game
4 PM - Pastors and Police basketball game
As part of Together We Ball, we would like to present a Spirit Stick Scholarship to the youth organization of the church who has the most attendees present at the 4 pm headliner game. A scholarship in the amount of $500 will be given to assist in funding a youth event focused on race relations. We will also be giving out a 2nd place scholarship of $300 and a 3rd place scholarship of $200.
Come cheer on your favorite officer or religious leader. We're calling all denominations, all law enforcement agencies, all families in Dallas....head over for some great, free, family fun.
