Improv for Caregivers of Alzheimer

On June 23, Stomping Ground Comedy Theater is doing what we love to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. We are participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Classes and shows all day!

Caregivers need to laugh more than ever! This class is to give caregivers an intro to the Stomping Ground 4-hr workshop and is open to all professional and family caregivers. Whether you are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's/dementia, special needs, or a medical condition, you will benefit from this class. Learn life-changing communication skills and techniques to use with your loved one that will reduce stress, frustration, and anger for both of you. Learning these skills will naturally increase the quality of care you are giving to your loved one. This class is fun, interactive, and sure to bring a lot of well-needed laughs to caregivers. Not sure what your loved one will do while you are in this class? Sign them up for their very own improv class! Improv for Alzheimer's/dementia is held at the same time in our facility.
