Adults can learn origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Origami Workshop, part of the Adult Summer Reading Program. The workshop will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 at the North Garland Branch Library.
The workshop will begin with some instruction in paper folding techniques. Participants will then create three pieces of origami: tiny stars, butterflies, and wearable samurai helmets. The library will provide all the supplies.
This program is limited to 15 individuals aged 18 and older. Registration is required and begins Tuesday, July 3. To register, please call 972-205-2803.
