Craighead Green Gallery presents The Color of Hope by Pamela Nelson.
This 77 piece installation is the perfect expression of Color and it's power to affect emotion. Created over the course of the year following the passing of her dear friend Bob Wilson, one of the founding president of KERA, Color of Hope's effect is nothing short of vibratory. Bob and Pam were partners on the Color Equations which hang all over Northpark Center. These pieces are not only a tribute to the colorful life Bob lived but a tribute to the human capacity for hope as well.
About the Artist: Pamela Nelson has a resume filled with accolades about a mile long. She was Vice Chair of the U.S. Commission of Fine Art from 2001-2011, and her works reside in notable collections such as the MOMA, Bush Presidential Center, and as pertaining to this project, Northpark Center.
This installation will be on display through June 16th.
