15th annual Young Friends Party - Friends for Fifteen

The Venue at 400 North Ervay

Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD) will host its 15th annual Young Friends Party - Friends for Fifteen at The Venue at 400 North Ervay on Friday, April 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. Chairs for this year’s event are Mary Gall and Courtney Klingman.

Members of the Young Friends of RMHD auxiliary organization of 300 Dallas professionals aged 24 to 35 lend their visibility and efforts to support RMHD, playing an important role in helping to raise both money and awareness to further the House's mission of meeting the needs of seriously ill children and their families.

“We love connecting with the charismatic crowd that attends the annual Young Friends party each year – they come out for a good time, and an even better cause,” said Jill Cumnock, the chief executive officer of RMHD. “These members of our diverse community have a big heart for our mission, and make their support look so fun and exciting. We have made a lot of new friends for the House over the last 15 years, and are looking forward to making, even more, this year.”

The Venue at 400 North Ervay will serve as the backdrop for this year’s Young Friends party, situated inside the historic U.S. Post Office and Courthouse downtown and adorned with rich and distinctive architectural details. In addition to food by Food Glorious Food and a silent auction, guests will enjoy live entertainment by DJ Souljah, one of Texas' most versatile DJs, whose live performances have been called electric and unexpected.

All-inclusive tickets are $85 for Young Friends members and $100 for non-members. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $115 for members, and $130 for non-members, offering a valet fast pass with exclusive food and drink specials during the party. Sponsorships ranging from $500 to $10,000+ are also available.

All proceeds from the annual Young Friends Party directly fund operational expenses for RMHD, which hosts 1,200 families each year while their children are receiving treatment for illnesses or injuries at Dallas hospitals. As a home-away-from-home, the House serves a critical need for families who stay there, all of whom come from distances greater than 40 miles away from Dallas. Over RMHD’s 37-year history, it has hosted more than 38,000. Although RMHD asks guest families to contribute only $15 per night, no family is ever turned away for an inability to pay.
