Award-winning violinist Aaron Boyd, Meadows director of chamber music, presents a concert with violist John Bachelder, cellist Hua Huang and pianist Misha Berestnev. The program will include Serenade in C Major for String Trio, Op. 10, by Ernst von Dohnányi; Violin Sonata in A Major by César Franck; and Piano Quartet in G Minor by Johannes Brahms. Boyd has given concerts at prestigious venues worldwide, collaborated with such groups as the Juilliard Quartet and Emerson Quartet and performed at festivals including Aspen, Marlboro and Music@Menlo. As a member of the Escher String Quartet for five seasons, Boyd was a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and the Martin E. Segal prize from Lincoln Center.
