Samuel Lynne Galleries is pleased to announce the opening reception for Brandon Boyd’s exhibition OptiMystic on Saturday, May 12, from 5-8 p.m. The artist will be in attendance at the opening reception, and the exhibition will be on view through June 2, 2018.
A Los Angeles, CA native, Boyd is famously recognized as the vocalist and frontman of Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling rock band, Incubus. In the early 2000’s each band member began to individually explore creative avenues outside of the band – art, film, and literature – allowing Boyd to discover his natural talent as a painter. His work as a singer-songwriter is well-documented and universally acclaimed, but his other life’s work as a visual artist is garnering increasing attention and devoted audiences of its own.
