Dallas CreativeSpace is pleased to announce Spring Open Studios featuring more than 60 artists on Friday, March 23rd from 6pm-10pm and Saturday, March 24th from 2pm-8pm at the historic Continental Gin Building located at 3309 Elm Street Dallas, TX 75226 .
The newly rebranded Dallas CreativeSpace (formerly Continental Gin Building Studios) has been home to some of Dallas’ most notable artists for more than 3 decades. Twice a year, the artists host their Open Studios event across 61,000 sqft of studio spaces on three floors.
“Our Open Studios event is a rare look inside the personal studios of some of Dallas’ most notable artists. It’s a showcase for the many different kinds of innovative art that is produced in our own backyard in a building that is a Dallas Landmark. It’s truly a wonderful event for art enthusiasts, buyers, and designers,” said Andrew Kochie, a featured artist and one of the organizers of the event.
The event will feature street tacos by TheTacoDude on the loading dock as well as complimentary drinks served throughout the building.
Built in 1888, the Continental Gin Building was responsible for the manufacturing of cotton gins which was then distributed across the nation. 1982 building was converted into the artist studios that it is known for today. The hardwood floors and original architecture allow for inspiration and demonstrate the building’s industrial past. For more information visit our website dallascreativespace.com
