ArtsWalk

Texas Woman's University - Denton Campus

The Texas Woman’s University School of the Arts invites area residents to join students, faculty, and staff for ArtsWalk: Emerging Stories. Event participants will explore new perspectives in adaptive spaces around the TWU Library Fountain, in Redbud 204 and the DGL Dance Building. This event will be held on TWU’s Denton campus from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 5.

The Artswalk will feature two interdisciplinary performance collaborations. Ilana Morgan (Dance) and Noah Lelek (Theatre) will present a short intergenerational community theatre/dance work created through text and movement by using the performers’ memories and personal stories. Matthew Henley (Dance) and Jana Perez (Visual Arts) will create a series of visual and kinetic installations which transform the DGL space into an immersive gallery. Performances by TWU dance, music, theatre, and visual arts faculty and students will also highlight this free, all-ages event.
