"My work is about play; finding and discovering by means of adding and subtracting. Nothing is premeditated or planned, all results are found. I work fast and energetically, on at least 6 pieces at a time, moving back and forth, bouncing ideas around from one piece to the next. I use acrylic, pastels and a variety of markers to create. A recent addition to my arsenal is collage, the crisp cutout effect adds a new layer and dimension. My paintings while small in scale, hold and demand attention, they work from afar but are rewarding upon closer inspection." - Giron
