As a nonprofit organization focused on environmental education and awareness, EARTHx, formerly known as Earth Day Texas (EDTx) has created the world’s largest annual forum for sharing the latest initiatives, discoveries, research, innovations, policies, corporate and NGO practices that are reshaping the future.
Founded in 2011 by Dallas-based environmentalist, philanthropist and businessman Trammell S. Crow, EARTHx promotes environmental awareness by curating an atmosphere for conscious business, nonpartisan collaboration and community-driven sustainable solutions. Our dates in 2018 will be April 20-22.
Earthx Film will also return in 2018: EARTHxFilm will take place April 13 – 22, 2018, in Dallas Texas with over 60 features and short films as well as VR, AR experiences, in addition to workshops, panels, music and art. It will take place at venues throughout the city, culminating April 19-22 at Fair Park as part of EARTHx . We will be having another E-Capital Summit. The summit will convene family foundations, entrepreneurs, incubators, accelerators, national labs & researchers to focus on how clean technology can help Houston become a more resilient city as it rebuilds in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Also new this year will be the Earthx Ocean Conference taking place on Sunday April 22nd. this conference will stimulate greater corporate and government support to protect our oceans.
